What is CBD ?
a chemical structure of CBD

CBD is a natural constituent of hemp that has been shown to have positive benefits, without causing psychoactive effects. All of the products on this site are made from Industrial Hemp.

What is industrial hemp?

Industrial hemp is a plant variety derived from the genus Cannabis sativa L. It contains a low concentration of Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), a chemical compound known for its hallucinogenic effects. Industrial hemp contains less than 0.3 percent THC, which means it cannot be used as a drug. The industrial hemp plant is legal and is typically processed into commodities such as textiles, fiber, forage and cosmetics. In December of 2018, the 2018 Farm Bill was signed into law. It removed hemp, defined as cannabis (Cannabis sativa L.) and derivatives of cannabis with extremely low concentrations of the psychoactive compound delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) (no more than 0.3 percent THC on a dry weight basis), from the definition of marijuana in the Controlled Substances Act (CSA)

Section 7606 of the Farm Bill defines industrial hemp as “the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.” The Hemp Farming Act of 2018 is a proposed law to remove hemp (defined as cannabis with less than 0.3% THC) from Schedule I controlled substances and making it an ordinary agricultural commodity.

Will I get high?

No. Industrial Hemp seeds have LOW, government-regulated levels of delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), the psychoactive agent found in Cannabis plants. Its low THC level essentially makes it impossible to feel any psychoactive effect or get a “high.” It also has high cannabidiol (CBD) content that acts as THC’s antagonist, essentially making the minimal amount of THC useless.
